The Ferrara-Buist team members took part in the 2nd Annual Sporting Clays Classic on April 21, 2023, in support of the YMCA’s Afterschool programming and scholarship fund. Six shooters registered, rotating through twelve stations, with an additional Flurry competition. The event had both morning and afternoon groups, and prizes were awarded based on the Lewis Class Scoring System to the top team score in the A, B, and C classes. Ferrara-Buist secured second place in the Class B Group, and together, they raised over $34,589 for the YMCA.
In addition to the shoot, there were several raffles held, with all the proceeds going towards scholarships for individuals and families who require childcare services. The YMCA’s mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that promote the growth of a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
